UTM (Universal Tensile Machine)
1.   Software mode changing from Extensometer to Normal mode and vice versa:
3.   Go to Tools menu and select Set Mode sub menu
      
4 .   Enter all From name and select logo using Select button
      
5.   Proxy mode option button or select Extensometer Mode option button.
6 .   Click on Set Mode button to set mode permanently.
2.   Test Specification entry:

1.  In main window left-top corner contain following type of control. Click on Specification Window button to give new specification for new      test.
     
2 .  In specification form you need to do following things.
     a.   Select party in PartyID textbox using F1 key. Press F1 key on this text box and it will open party selection dialog to select party. You                  need toselect party and press enter on help dialog. Party name and ID will be reflected to specification window.
           
           
     b.  Test ID will be auto fill. No need to give testID manually.
     c.   Enter Test name, material name and job number to perform test. Job number should be in numeric format.
     d.  Select Denier or Tex and fill Of yarn text box
     e.  Enter Date and time of test if you want to change. Otherwise it will be auto fill as per current date and time.
     f.   Select test type
          1   Tensile
          2   Flexural
          3   COF
          4   ICOF
          5   Compression
     g.   Fill technical specification as per test. For example; L, B and H...
     h.   Area will be calculated automatically
     i.   Click on save button first to go ahead. This is very important step to do.
     j.   Any time if you want to perform New Test please click on New Test first. Because it will generate new test id and new test for you. If you           have not clicked on New Test and performed new test and try to save test at that time system will over write your previous test which           has same test ID.
     k.   Click on Graph window button to take graph from Machine. But make sure that you have saved test specifications.
           

3.   Graph details:

11. Graph detail window will contains following tools;

     a.   Graph view
     b.   Test Results and Statistics
     c.   Test Specifications

12. To start new test;
     a.   Click on clear graph button if graph window is not cleared
           
     b.   Click on stop button first if machine is in running phase.
     c.   Click on Start button to initiate the test.
           
     d.   It will display graph plotting according to machine’s force and extension.
     e.   You can get the online result in graph as well as in top-right corner force and extension text boxes.
     f.   After break condition graph will automatically stopped. And you can figure it out.
          
     g.   Now you can plot all required check points as per test type.
          1   Tensile
          
          2   Flexural
          
          3   COF
          
          4   ICOF
          
          5   Compression
          
     h.   Like following give example.
          

4.   Graph Conversions: 
          

          After graph point selections you can convert all results from one standard to another standard. Supported conversions are as follows;

          1   Kg/cm2
          2    N/mm2
          3    MPA

5.   Print Report 

      To print the generated report you need to click on   button in Graph detail window. It will generate following kind of       print preview.
      
      Now to print the report you can click on  button. It directly prints the report on paper like following print image; 
      
     Now to export the report in Microsoft Excel format: click on  button. It will ask you to give file name and location where you want to save the      exported file. In exported file you can find,

          1   Test specifications

          2   Test Graph

          3   Result statistics
